    Patients taking warfarin or newer oral anticoagulants are generally not suitable, unless therapy can be safely paused under medical supervision and agreed with your prescribing physician.

  • Cancer treatment in pelvic region

    Patients currently undergoing chemotherapy, radiotherapy, or immunotherapy in the pelvic region are not suitable candidates. PRP therapy is not appropriate while active cancer treatment is ongoing.

  • Allergy to local anaesthetics

    A topical anaesthetic is applied as standard. Patients with a known allergy should discuss this at consultation, as alternative comfort options may not be available in all cases.

P-Shot Safety, What You Should Know

Every P-Shot at Dr SNA Clinic is carried out under the same clinical standards applied to any regulated medical procedure. The points below are not marketing claims. They are verifiable facts about how the treatment is delivered here, and why that matters when choosing where to have it done.

Your own blood. Nothing added.

The PRP used in the P-Shot is drawn from your own blood, processed on-site, and injected within the same appointment. No synthetic substances or foreign agents are used at any stage. Because the treatment uses your own biological material, the risk of allergic reaction or immune response is minimal.

Minor and temporary side effects only

The most commonly reported effects following the P-Shot are mild swelling, localised sensitivity, and occasional bruising in the treatment area. These typically resolve within 24 to 72 hours. Serious adverse events are rare. Dr S N Abbas discusses all known risks openly at consultation before any decision is made.

Sterile, single-use equipment throughout

Every needle, syringe, and collection tube used is sterile and single-use. The centrifuge used for PRP processing is a medical-grade, FDA-listed device. Equipment is never reused between patients. The treatment room is prepared to theatre-standard hygiene protocols before each appointment.

The P-Shot, formally known as the Priapus Shot, is a non-surgical treatment that uses platelet-rich plasma (PRP) drawn from your own blood.
